hi! i’m elizabeth.
i’m currently based in palo alto, where i’m a software engineer at rivian. previously, i studied computer science at the university of southern california. in my free time you can usually find me trying out new restaurant or coffee shop, baking desserts with friends, camping with other rivian-ites, or grinding away at the gym.
in software, i enjoy tackling difficult problems and refining processes into simpler, more effective solutions; in life, i enjoy being as dynamic and opportunistic as possible — i’m drawn to novel experiences that push me to grow.

when i’m not working, i’m often jumping between hobbies. what you’ll find me interested in month-to-month can differ vastly, but most of my interests fall into three buckets:
- #moving moving well is important to me, and over the years i’ve cycled through different modalities — crossfit, brazilian jiu-jitsu, olympic weightlifting, climbing, backpacking, and just regular gym-going. i’m currently training for a HYROX, and when the season returns, i would love to try skiing or snowboarding!
- #creating i like making things, especially when it blends creativity with craft. i’ve explored print design and digital illustration, and enjoy experimenting with disposable film cameras and old digital ones. i bake in the evenings, and recently i’ve been learning to pull a creamy shot of espresso. this website has been my attempt at writing!
- #consuming i’m drawn to thoughtful, intentional experiences. lately, that’s looked like exploring fine dining, checking out coffee shops and bakeries, becoming a more conscious movie watcher (paying attention to things like color grading), traveling and sending postcards whenever possible, or simply lighting a candle and diving into a good book or album.
